In September 2012, our flagship store on Bourke Street, Melbourne, closed it's doors and head off on a new adventure...a two-minute trek around the corner to brand new digs in the heart of the adventure precinct - Little Bourke Street! Sadly we had to let our resident Tuk Tuk go, but nothing else has changed! The team of Adventure Experts can help you choose between brands, with real advice on the style of travel you want, the kind of experience, the itinerary, the trip pace, the standard of accommodation and transport and anything else there is to decide. Tracey - Team Leader
I first went overseas to England with my Mum when I was 14. Subsequently, the travel bug inspired me to join the amazing travel industry. I have been working in travel for more than 10 years and joined Intrepid in December 2010. Over the years I have backpacked through Europe, rafted rapids in NZ, sampled spicy food in Sri Lanka, made friends in Egypt, spotted giraffes in South Africa, practised Hula in Hawaii, and partied hard in VIVA LAS VEGAS. Visit me in store and I'll help make some real life experiences happen for you!
Matt - Adventure Expert
After a long hiatus from My Adventure Store living the dream in South America, Matt has returned to Australia and is a wealth of knowledge on the region. When we're not being jealous of his most recent adventure, we're picking his brain about the best places to visit, what are the 'must see' spots, and what foods we should be tasting. Between sipping caipirinhas in Rio, checking out the Nazca Lines in Peru, or getting active in spectacular Patagonia, Matt has pretty much done it all. Tom - Adventure Expert
I love to travel and I study part time to learn more about the worlds best industry. I have a long list of places and experiences to do with my ultimate travel experience is to walk the rim of Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. Other than travel I enjoy video games, running, eating great food and trying new things. My favourite destination to date would have to be America, because of it’s great attractions, great cities, great shopping and great food.

Travel is a life-long endeavour. There is no hurry. You can't and won't see everything in one trip, but by being selective and travelling slowly, you can create a meaningful connection with a place, its people and culture. Always try to pre-book accommodation as it's not fun wasting time lugging your backpack from one place to another. Always have a plan but be ready to be spontaneous because something great always comes your way.

I have a love for travel that has taken me to some amazing places including India, the Caribbean and Budapest . I am always up for a chat about anything travel as I am always interested in where people have been to before. The most recent place I have been to was India, and I have to say there is a bit of a love / hate relationship there. It is an amazing culture shock but the people are really friendly and depending on the region you are in, all the different sceneries, I'd highly recommend it.
